During my internship at J.L Buchanan, I worked on a project with two other interns. The team consisted of a category manager, sales and myself, creative services. The objective of the project was to provide Target with recommendations in a category that we believed Target could improve. We performed multiple field research outings and researched other social listening tools. After our observations, we agreed upon the candle category. Provided are examples of my research. I was responsible for competitor analysis, trend research, merchandising strategy, affinity reporting and lastly, the build out of the end cap.
